Position: US Team Leader
Having seen preliminary success in the UK, we would like to expand to the US to access the talent pool and accelerator infrastructure in US universities. We are looking for a person who will proactively lead that effort. We need someone who (1) enjoys and is capable of independently and autonomously producing the kind of research that we have published and (2) will actively and aggressively participate in the management of operations and growth of the business.
Requirements
Has previous research interest/experience in clinical stage biotech evaluation.
An understanding of the financial valuation methodology of biotech assets.
Understands the clinical trial mechanics and is able to run trial independent clinical trial analysis.
(Optional) Sufficient programming experience to be able to leverage.
Studying Life Sciences. Finance students are also eligible, but must demonstrate sufficient proficiency and interest in life sciences.
Studying at University of Pennsylvania.
Availability of around 15h / week.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team (around 3 people), later scaling to multiple teams, to independently and autonomously produce research on par with our current quality.
Navigate and develop relationships with key US universities, looking for grant funding and access to talent.
Able to raise talent in the US.
Participate in strategic operations : raising funds and finding partnerships to commercialise our research.
